To reach a fiftieth anniversary is an achievement, to attain it in the fashion and strength of our club is a remarkable testament to our founder members. The men who planted the roots or our present success could have little visualised the progress we have made. Our members have travelled the world supporting Celtic, experiencing success and disappointment. Jim O’Kane has given us in this book a chance to recall old friends and good times, and remind us of our achievements and where we have come from, and hopefully lay the foundations of success for many years to come. We also must remember we have a duty to pass on to future generations the privileges we have had in the past and rely on them to carry them forward into the 21st century.

Fifty years is a long time but it is not the end, only part of a journey in the support of Celtic.
"… when you walk through a storm… you will truly never walk alone… "

Yours in Celtic
Charles H Lynch, President, 1995.
